Senka Milutinović was born in 1999 in Belgrade, Serbia and is a researcher, writer, teacher, and multimedia designer based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. They are interested in media theory, alternative archival practices, and queering narrative forms to bridge the gap between the personal and political. The format of their work varies anywhere from organizing nomadic reading clubs to experimental radio shows, to interactive printed matter and digital interactive storytelling. Within their practice they predominantly work in collectives or facilitate co-creative works. They’re a part of the ARK collective, they co-organize Reading Rhythms Club and co-host Nightly Manifesto.
Their work was shown in Amsterdam Museum Hermitage, National Taiwan Science Education Center & Digital Art Center Taipei, MU Hybrid Art House Eindhoven, De Aa Kerk Groningen, Neude Library Utrecht, TENT Rotterdam, Worm Rotterdam, the Cultural Centre of Belgrade (KCB) and the Student Cultural Centre of Belgrade (SKC). They’ve held workshops focused on writing and image-making at Worm Rotterdam, WdKA and KCB (Belgrade). Their work has been
featured in the publication “Research for People Who (Think They) Would Rather Create” by Dirk Vis.
Aside from that, their lyric essay “A Momentary Lapse in Memory: An Inquiry int (Re)Memory and Trauma Embodiment” has been published as part of Amsterdam Museum Journal’s Edition #1: War, Conflict, and the City.
