Simon Oosterhuis studied Fine Arts at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague and at the Master Institute of Visual Cultures in Den Bosch.
During my study in Den Bosch I started writing short stories of exactly hundred words. For this occasion I have written a longer text, while trying to give the story the same atmosphere as my hundred word stories.
About the story:
This story comes from the curiosity I feel when travelling with the train. When looking around I see all these different people with all their different stories. Sitting next to someone for an hour or more and knowing nothing about her or him is something that intrigues me. Who is this person? What does her or his life look like? In this story I have made up my own answers.
