I am an indigenous Khasi visual artist based in Rotterdam [NL] and Shillong [IN]. My practice stands at the intersection of writing, drawing, moving image and research. My work entwines mythology, ecology, historical inquiry and fiction. I am interested in approaching artistic research through public engagement and speleological thinking, i.e making as cave-exploration, confounded by the enormity of the cave (any context of interest) and its spectral, visual, biological and historical enormity.
